Dark Chocolate Doughnuts with Xocai Healthy Dark Chocolate

Ingredients

2 cups milk ((scalded))
1/2 cup potato flakes
1/2 cup shortening ((shortening-cut into the flour))
4 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
3 tbsps yeast ((dissolved in 1/4 cup warm water- water is warm enough when you can hold your fingers under hot tap without pulling them away))
5 whole eggs
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup dark chocolate ((Xocai Healthy Chocolate Activ Powder))

Preparation

Mix scalded milk with potato flakes; cool to room temperature. In separate bowl, cut shortening into the flour. To the potato flakes mixture, add sugar, yeast mixture, eggs, salt, flour mixture, and Xocai Activ. Beat for 10 minutes. Let rise 15-30 minutes. Roll out dough and form into doughnut shapes. Fry in deep fat fryer at 375 degrees until golden brown. Serves 24

Xocai Healthy Dark Chocolate Granola

Ingredients

1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup honey
2 tbsps peanut butter
1 whole egg whites
1 tsp evaporated milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp allspice
2 cups oats
1 1/2 cups rice cereal
1/3 cup dark chocolate (Xocai Healthy Chocolate X Power Squares, chopped)
1/4 cup nuts (chopped)
2 tsps flax seeds ((optional))

Preparation

Combine the first 7 ingredients, then the next 4 in a separate bowl; add this to the first mixture. Add the last ingredients one at a time. Place in a 9x13 inch greased dish, press down and bake at 350 degrees for 18-20 minutes. Serves 12

Nugget for Health with "Xocai Healthy Dark Chocolate"

Ingredients

1/4 cup sugar
1 cup strawberries (fresh and chopped)
4 chunks dark chocolate (Xocai Nuggets)
4 ozs cream cheese
2 whole english muffins
2 chunks dark chocolate (X Power Squares, grated)
1 cup whipped cream

Preparation

The day before serving, stir sugar and strawberries together and place in a covered bowl. Chill overnight.

Just before serving, warm "Xocai Nuggets" until soft and mix into cream cheese. Split English muffins and toast in a toaster. Spread cream cheese mixture equally on warm muffin halves. Stir sweetened strawberries and spoon over cream cheese. Sprinkle grated "Xocai X Power Squares" on top of strawberries, top with a dollop of whipped cream, and serve. Serves 4

Dark Chocolate and Strawberry Stuffed French Toast with Xocai Healthy Chocolate

Ingredients

3 whole eggs
1 1/4 cups nonfat milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup ricotta cheese (part-skim)
8 slices whole wheat bread (crusts removed)
8 ozs strawberries (1, 8 once container strawberries, hulled and slices)
4 tsps dark chocolate (Xocai X Power Squares, chopped)
2 tsps confectioners sugar

Preparation

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and vanilla. Set aside. Place 1 tbsp. of ricotta in the center of the pieces of bread and spread around. Top with about 6 sliced strawberries and a tsp of the chopped X Power Squares. Cover with another piece of bread to make a sandwich. Spray a large non-stick skillet or griddle with cooking spray and preheat. Carefully dip each of the sandwiches into the egg mixture until completely moistened. Then place on the griddle and cook over medium heat for 3-4 minutes per side, until the outside is golden brown and the center is warm and chocolate is melted. Top with remaining strawberries and sprinkle with confectioners sugar. Serves 4

Chocolate Cinnamon Spirals with Xocai Healthy Chocolate

Ingredients

2 cups flour
1 tbsp baking powder
12 cup butter (butter or margarine, softened, divided)
12 tsp salt
4 tbsps sugar
1 whole eggs
12 cup milk
2 tsps vanilla
12 tsp cinnamon
3 tbsps brown sugar
3 tbsps chopped walnuts
2 chunks dark chocolate (Xocai X Power Squares)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400 degrees and grease 9-inch baking pan. Mix flour, baking powder, 1/4 cup of butter, salt, and sugar until it forms course crumbs. Add egg, milk and vanilla. Roll with rolling pin on flat surface to 1/4 inch thick. Cover with remaining butter, cinnamon, brown sugar, walnuts, and chopped X Power Squares. Roll the dough into a log and slice into 1/2-inch pieces. Bake until golden brown.

Xocolate Chip Bran Muffins with Xocai Healthy Dark Chocolate

1/2 cup shortening
1 1/4 cups sugar
2 whole eggs
2 cups buttermilk
1 cup boiling water
1 cup bran cereal
2 1/2 cups flour
2 1/2 cups baking soda
2 cups bran (bran buds)
1 tbsp dark chocolate ("Xocai Sipping Xocolate")

Preparation

Mix shortening and sugar. Add eggs and buttermilk and mix well. Mix bran cereal with boiling water, then add immediately to batter. Add flour, baking soda, and bran buds. Add in " Xocai Sipping Xocolate" just before baking. Bake 15-20 minutes at 400 degrees. Serves 24

Orange Crepes with Xocai Healthy Chocolate

Ingredients

2 whole eggs (Large Eggs)
1/2 cup milk (Milk)
1/2 cup water (Water)
1 cup all-purpose flour (All-Purpose Four)
2 tbsps sugar (Sugar)
1 tsp vanilla (Vanilla)
1 tbsp amaretto liqueur (Amaretto Liqueur)
2 tbsps butter (Butter, melted)

Preparation

Mix everything until smooth. Set aside for at least an hour. Gently stir the batter until smooth. Heat a pan (preferred 6 inch) over medium heat. Grease the pan lightly with butter. Pour about 3 tbsp. of batter on the pan (thin layer evenly across the pan.) Cook about one minute on each side (until golden brown.) Keep warm in a 200-degree oven.

1 cup pancake mix (Buttermilk Pancake mix)
1 dash vanilla extract ((1 tsp. or so))
1 drop water ((or milk))
1 tbsp dark chocolate (1-2 tbsp Xocai Sipping Xocolate)

Preparation

Combine mix, vanilla and water or milk; stir to desired consistency. Add Sipping Xocolate, stir in well. Cook on griddle; serve with butter and syrup. Serves 4

Xocai Healthy Chocolate Muffins

Ingredients

2 ozs dark chocolate (Xocai Sipping Xocolate)
1 tbsp milk (Milk or Heavy Cream)
8 chunks dark chocolate (Xocai X Power Squares)
2 cups all-purpose flour ((or organic flour))
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tbsp ground nutmeg ((optional))
2 whole eggs ((large, brown organic are best))
1 cup buttermilk (Low fat organic buttermilk)
2/3 cup sugar ((organic cane sugar))
1/2 cup butter ((organic))
1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Position oven rack to the center of the oven. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease 12-cup muffin pan. Slowly, on low heat, warm Sipping Xocolate with milk or heavy cream. Stir until melted. Set aside. Cut X Power Squares in to small pieces. Set aside. Mix dry ingredients together in a bowl. Add the dry ingredients. Add the X Power Squares and mix for at lease 2 minutes. Add eggs, buttermilk, sugar, butter and vanilla. Lastly add the melted Sipping Xocolate. Slowly mix until the mixture is combined. Do not over mix as the batter should be lumpy. Divide the batter into the 12 muffin cups. Bake the muffins for about 15 minutes. Let cool in the muffin pan for at least 10 minutes before removing the muffins. Let cool for another 5-10 minutes. Serves 12

Chocolate Pancakes with Xocai Healthy Dark Chocolate

Ingredients

1 cup flour
1 tbsp sugar
2 tsps baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 whole eggs (beaten)
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup dark chocolate (Xocai Nuggets, melted)
2 tbsps oil

Preparation

Combine dry ingredients in large bowl. Combine eggs, milk and melted Nuggets and add to dry ingredients, without over mixing. Heat your pan or griddle. Lightly drizzle with oil and pour your batter onto heated surface. Cook one side until bubbles appear, and then flip to other side. Cook until golden brown. Serve with your favorite toppings. Serves 4

XoBanana Bread made with Xocai Healthy Dark Chocolate

Ingredients

2 cups whole wheat flour (100% Whole Wheat Flour)
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 whole eggs (beaten)
2 1/3 cups mashed banana
1 oz dark chocolate (Xocai Activ Powder)
3 chunks dark chocolate (Xocai X Power Squares, chopped)
2 chunks dark chocolate (Xocai Omega Squares, chopped)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease 9x5-inch loaf pan. In large bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. In a separate bowl, cream butter and brown sugar. Stir in eggs and mashed bananas until well blended. Stir in Activ, X Power and Omega Squares. Stir banana mixture into flour mixture; stir just to moisten. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake in preheated oven for 60 to 65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean. Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes; turn out onto wire rack. Serves 4

1 oz vodka
5 cubes ice (ice cubes)

Heat amaretto syrup. Remove from heat and add Nuggets. Stir until melted. Cool. Mix 1 oz of amaretto mixture with 1 oz. of vodka. Pour over ice or blend in blender with the ice. Serves 1

2 1/2 tsps dark chocolate (Xocai Sipping Xocolate)
1/4 cup hot water
2 scoops vodka
1 dash grenadine (Splash of Grenadine)
2 chunks dark chocolate (Xocai X Power Squares, chopped)
1 drop maraschino cherries

Preparation

Melt Sipping Xocolate in hot water and then cool. Fill a martini shaker halfway with ice, then add vodka, sipping chocolate, and grenadine; shake very well. Dip the rim of a martini glass in some grenadine, and then press into the chopped X Power Squares. Pour martini in and top with cherry. Serves 2

16 ozs ice (Cup of ice)
1 cup milk (1-2 cups of Milk (regular, soy, or almond))
2 tbsps coffee (Favorite powdered coffee mix)
1 1/2 cups dark chocolate (Xocai Liquid Activ)
1 dash liquid sweetener (to taste)
1 dash vanilla (to taste)

Preparation

Put all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth. Feel free to experiment with different flavors of coffees, such as amaretto, hazelnut or cinnamon. Serves 2
